There are rumors that three shipping companies located in Mumbai have been sending supplies on a regular basis for more than a month. They claim to have been shipping and forwarding commodities like metals, plastic, and wood products out of their facilities in Pune, Surat, and Mumbai.
Given that practically every company in the supply chain has its headquarters in Mumbai, the demand for goods from that warehouse could be the reason behind the export and transit delays. However, freight companies often face delays in the delivery of the goods that their customers purchase.
